I occasionally write short works of fiction in my spare time. I primarily write for my own enjoyment, but my friends seem to enjoy my writing, so I’m putting my stories on this page so that others might enjoy them. Written for a Introduction to Creative Fiction Writing class I took in the winter of 2008 at the University of Oregon. The story follows a middle-aged engineer as he struggles to make sense of the world after an aborted apocalypse.
